Artist statement
In my work, I explore the profound beauty within fleeting, everyday moments. Where the rhythm of daily life intersects with the abstract and chaotic forces of nature. Through my art, I aim to distill these moments and the blurry memories of them. By Spending time with them revealing and capturing new avenues for synthesizing and expressing that in which was of interest. Many of these moments involving natures interaction with the man-made city and the beauty that comes from the tension between structure and spontaneity. This chaos Inspires my process to be intuitive, a tension between observation and abstraction to create something that is worldly. Grounded and expansive, leading the viewer through a moment. Invited to make connections from their own memories, appreciating moments and the memories of them for what they are.
